Nativity celebration at Poyyekad ward.

Poyyekad ward celebrated the feast of nativity of Mother Mary at the residence of Mr. Benedict Dsouza on Sunday, 11th September 2022 at 3:00 pm. Bro. Vinol Fernandes, animator, was present during the celebration. SCC meeting with 7 steps was held prior to the celebrations. Gurkar of the ward, Mr. Joseph D’Souza along with other ward members took part in the prayer service. On this occasion, Bro. Vinol Fernandes gave the short reflection on Mother Mary's life. Subsequently, the members of the ward offered flowers to Infant Mary. Bro. Vinol Fernandes entertained the gathering with games and prizes were given away to the winners. The celebration concluded by savouring the 'Payasam' mixed with the newly blessed corns of the feast.
