Bela Catholic Parish is one of the ancient parishes of the Diocese of Mangalore. It is situated in Kasaragod District, around 50 KMs away from Mangalore. This is the oldest parish in the Kasaragod district. The mother tongue of the Catholics is Konkani.
The Parish has 17 wards and 448 families.

The annual Lenten retreat, aimed at rekindling the spiritual life of parishioners, was held from March 24 to 26, 2025, at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rev.
