ICYM unit of Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela organized "KHELA SANGAM" - an inter-ward sports day (Kreedotsav) for Bela parishioners on Sunday, 8th January, 2023 at the Bela church ground.
The sports day was formally inaugurated with March past at 11:30 am with the accompaniment of the school band of St Mary's High School, Bela. The parish priest, Rev Fr Stany Pereira along with Fr Anil Avild Lobo, Sr. Marceline Brags SCCG, Sr. Annie OP, Sr. Tincy OP, Mr. Cyril Crasta, Vice-President of Parish Pastoral Council, Ms Cicilia Dsouza, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Br Vinol, Regent and Glen Preethesh, the president of ICYM Bela were present on the occasion.
The parishioners participated in the 8 categories from 1st standard to above 50 years . Winners were awarded with medals and certificates after every event. The champions and runners-up were awarded trophies and medals at the concluding programme. The Khela sangam ended with ICYM theme song at 6:00 pm.
