Good Friday-2023: Bela Church

Good Friday is commemorated as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This day is meant for penance and fasting. The Visiting the Holy Eucharist by the parishioners resumed at 7.00 a.m. The Way of the Cross was conducted by Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, Parish priest at 11 am. The hour-long devotion brought vivid reflections of the fourteen Stations of the Cross into the minds of the faithful.

In the evening, the ceremony commenced at 4.00 p.m. led by Fr Anil Avild Lobo. As part of the ceremony, prayers were offered for different categories of people. This was followed by kissing the cross. The ceremony concluded with receiving the Holy Communion and the faithful left for their home in peace.
