ANNUAL PARISH FEAST, BELA CHURCH

The annual feast of Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela, which also is parish feast of this parish , was celebrated in an atmosphere of devotion and gaiety on Wednesday February 23.

Prior to the solemn concelebrated festal mass, Fr Stany Pereira, the parish priest Honored the Heads of the families, Parish Council Members, Persons who render special service to church and the Donors with candles.

Rev Fr John Vas, former Parish Priest of Bela and now, chaplain, Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay, celebrated the solemn festal Mass and preached on Family is the cradle of Faith and Love – one of the themes of Papal Encyclical ‘Amoris Laetitia’. Along with Our parish priest, Fr Stany Pereira and Fr Anil Lobo, 22 priests con-celebrated the Festal Mass.

Rev Fr Stany Pereira, Parish Priest, verbalized his deep sentiments of gratitude to the members of the Parish Pastoral council, all the associations and each person who helped in the effective conduct of the Annual Feast. The Church ground , after the mass, presented a beautiful sight of huge number of people all around with glowing smiles, and joyful outbursts of wishing each other a happy feast and thronging to various stalls set up by ICYM, YCS members.
