Training programme for Altar Servers.

Altar Servers' training programme was held on 5th of September 2022 Monday at 8.00 a.m. There were around 40 members present for this training program. It began with a short prayer, which was followed by the theory session using PPT presentation to make it more interesting. Regent, Bro. Vinol Fernandes, took the first session explaining the meaning and purpose of altar service, the rubrics and the materials used at the altar service.

Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo was prersent during the session and gave the useful guidelines to the Altar severs.

Rev. Fr. Stany Pereira, Parish Priest, through a demonstration of using thurible, taught the correct method of using thurible and incensing at the mass. Subsequently, Bro. Vinol and Sr. Christella did a practical session on how to serve at the altar. All members actively took part in this program. Vinitha and Jevita helped the session rendering volunteer service.
