Seethangoli (Our Lady of Mount Carmel) Ward celebrates its Annual Feast

Seethangoli Ward members celebrated the feast of their ward patron Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 21st July 2024. The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated at 7:30 a.m. by Rev. Fr Ivan Madtha, Rev. Fr Stany Pereira was the concelebrant. The Ward members conducted the liturgy in a meaningful way.

The celebration took place at the residence of Mr Robert Rodrigues. SCC Meeting of 7 steps method was held prior to the celebration at 3.00 pm. Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, Parish Priest of Bela Parish and Sr Florine, the ward animator were the guests of honour. Mr Thomas D Souza, the ward Gurkar, Mr Robert Rodrigues and Mrs Anitha Crasta, the ward representatives, Mrs Jyothi D Souza and Mr Naveen, the members of P.P.C. and all the members of the ward were present on this occasion.

Mr Thomas D Souza welcomed the gathering. The annual report of the ward activities was read by Mrs Jyothi D Souza (Patte). The birthdays of Mr Robert D Souza and Adlin D Souza were celebrated.

The meritorious students in the S.S.L.C. Board Examinations, Vanitha D Souza, Nishanth Vinovel D Souza and Ashwitha Priya D Souza were honoured. Fr Stany Pereira, the Parish Priest of Bela, appreciated the exemplary works of the ward members and delivered his message on this festal occasion. Mrs Jyothi D Souza (teacher) proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs Juliana Crasta compered the programme. The celebration concluded with everyone partaking in the tea and snacks.
