Periadka B (St Alphonsa) Ward celebrates its Annual Feast

The members of Periadka B Ward celebrated their ward patron, St Alphonsa, on Sunday, 27th October 2024. The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated at 7:30 a.m. by Rev. Fr Rocky Fernandes, with the ward members conducting the liturgy in a meaningful way.

The ward day celebration took place at the residence of Mr Ashok Crasta at 3:30 p.m. Several esteemed guests were present, including Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, Parish Priest of Bela Parish; Mr Cyril Crasta, PPC Vice-President; Mrs Cicilia D'Souza, PPC Secretary; Sr Lissy, animator of the ward; Bro. Aaron, Regent; Mr Wilfred Manohar, the ward Gurkar; Mrs Preetha Crasta, the ward representative; Mr Ashok Crasta, the ward secretary along with other ward members.

Before the celebration began, a few exciting games and SCC meeting of 7 steps method was organised. Mr Wilfred Manohar welcomed the gathering. Mr Ashok Crasta read the Annual report. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the various games organised on the occasion of the ward feast. The top scorers in various examinations and the achievers in extra-circular activities were honoured.

Sr Lissy, Mrs Cicilia D'Souza, Mr Cyril Crasta and Bro. Aaron shared their festal wishes with the ward members.

Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, the Parish Priest, commended the Gurkar and the ward members for their dedicated service to both the ward and the parish. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr John Crasta. Ms Jesvita Crasta compered the program. The celebration concluded with tea and snacks.
