The Way of the Cross at Kudrepady, the place of origin of Bela church.

The Way of the Cross was held at Kudrepady, the place of origin of Bela Church which is 10 Km away from Bela Church, on Sunday 10th April 2023 at 4 pm. Nearly 300 devotees from Bela parish arrived to take part in the Ways of the Cross, especially during the Holy Week to get spiritual bliss. This is held every year, as it is a place where Kasargod Catholics lived their faith.

Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, parish priest of Bela church held the preparatory session for the Way of the Cross. Later, a brief introduction was read by Sr Christella. Bro. Vinol led the Way of the Cross. Throughout the Way of the Cross, the church choir joined together to sing hymns. Later, Fr. Stany Pereira gave a short reflection on the word of God. Subsequently, Mr. Cyril Crasta, vice president of the Parish pastoral council, proposed a vote of thanks. It was concluded by serving refreshments to devotees.
